Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le grand noyer à Éragny, après-midi by Camille Pissarro was auctioned at Christies in London in June this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,189,500.00 (€ 1,384,373.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Camille Pissarro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Boulevard Montmartre, Matinée De Printemps in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 19,682,500.00 (€ 23,879,608.50).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.189.500,00 (€ 1.384.373,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000.000,00 – 1.500.000,00 angegeben worden.
