Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Le Jardin De Maubuisson, Pontoise by Camille Pissarro for USD 2,965,000.00 (€ 2,807,233.48). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Evening Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000,000.00 – 5,000,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Camille Pissarro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Boulevard Montmartre, Matinée De Printemps in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 19,682,500.00 (€ 23,879,608.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Le Jardin De Maubuisson, Pontoise von Camille Pissarro für USD 2.965.000,00 (€ 2.807.233,48) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Evening Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000.000,00 – 5.000.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Camille Pissarro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Boulevard Montmartre, Matinée De Printemps im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.682.500,00 (€ 23.879.608,50).
