The work Conservation by Caroline Walker was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction at Phillips in New York in May this year. It achieved a price of USD 469,900.00 (€ 441,055.00), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Caroline Walker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Threshold, which sold at auction in March this year for GBP 927,100.00 (€ 1,054,755.33).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 469.900,00 (€ 441.055,00) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Für andere Arbeiten von Caroline Walker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Threshold beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für GBP 927.100,00 (€ 1.054.755,33) versteigert wurde.
