Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nature morte aux fleurs by Charles Camoin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,364.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Camoin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Port De Cassis, 1904-1905 in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 266,966.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nature morte aux fleurs von Charles Camoin kam im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.200,00 (€ 29.364,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Camoin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Port De Cassis, 1904-1905 im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 266.966,00.
