In June this year Bonhams held the auction The Male Form, which included the work Tête de Colosse by Christophe Charbonnel. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 40,960.00 64% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Christophe Charbonnel; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Le Veilleur II - 2013 sold at auction in July 2021 with the realized price of EUR 52,000.00.

Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion The Male Form durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tête de Colosse von Christophe Charbonnel zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 40.960,00 und damit 64% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Christophe Charbonnel; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Le Veilleur II - 2013 im Juli 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 52.000,00.
