Auction result well in line with expectations
The work C Plus S, 1972 by Constantin Xenakis was sold in the Contemporary Art 2 auction at Artcurial in Paris in May 2011. The price achieved of EUR 6,150.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Constantin Xenakis have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November last year the work Telecommunication HHF / Commandements HHG was auctioned for EUR 10,837.50.
