This artwork by Cyril Power achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2018. In the Made in Britain auction, the work Tyrrells, Woolpit (C. Cep 3) sold for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,403.91) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cyril Power achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Whence & Whither? (C. Cep 14) in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 95,050.51).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Cyril Power erzielte im September 2018 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Made in Britain wurde die Arbeit Tyrrells, Woolpit (C. Cep 3) für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.403,91) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cyril Power erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Whence & Whither? (C. Cep 14) im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 95.050,51).
