In April 2016 Christies in Milan held the auction Milan Modern and Contemporary, which included the work Oggetto Ottico Dinamico by Dadamaino. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 76,800.00 28% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dadamaino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Volume, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 173,000.00 (€ 157,358.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Im April 2016 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Oggetto Ottico Dinamico von Dadamaino zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 76.800,00 und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Dadamaino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Volume beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 173.000,00 (€ 157.358,56) versteigert wurde.
