Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 3928. Lapping your feet from The Currency by Damien Hirst was sold in the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in Paris in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 10,710.00 (€ 12,495.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Damien Hirst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lullaby Spring in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,652,000.00 (€ 14,323,082.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 3928. Lapping your feet from The Currency von Damien Hirst wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in Paris versteigert.
