This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art | Milan at Sothebys in Milan and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 1,800.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Damien Hirst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lullaby Spring in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,652,000.00 (€ 14,323,082.54).

Die Arbeit Forever (Large) (H8-3) von Damien Hirst war einem Käufer im Dezember 2021 EUR 8.820,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Milan bei Sothebys in Mailand erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.800,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Damien Hirst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lullaby Spring im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.652.000,00 (€ 14.323.082,54).
