This work without title by Dan Rees was auctioned at Phillips in New York in February 2018. It achieved a price of USD 11,875.00 (€ 9,724.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 48%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dan Rees achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Artex Painting in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 233,000.00 (€ 187,329.15).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Dan Rees kam im Februar 2018 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 9.724,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dan Rees erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Artex Painting im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 233.000,00 (€ 187.329,15).
