Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Identical twins, Roselle, N. J. by Diane Arbus was sold in the Contemporary Evening Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in May last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 693,000.00 (€ 645,792.56) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Other works by Diane Arbus have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May this year the work A box of ten photographs was auctioned for USD 1,008,000.00 (€ 946,123.52).

Die Arbeit Identical twins, Roselle, N. J. von Diane Arbus wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Evening Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 693.000,00 (€ 645.792,56) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00.
