Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (I) by Diane Arbus was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in London in May last year. The price achieved of GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,411.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Diane Arbus achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A box of ten photographs in May this year with an auction result of USD 1,008,000.00 (€ 946,123.52).
