Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Ohne Titel (Untitled) by Dirk Bell for EUR 504.00. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Passions at Sothebys in Cologne and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dirk Bell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abgrund in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Untitled) von Dirk Bell für EUR 504,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Passions bei Sothebys in Köln erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dirk Bell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abgrund im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
