Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Rock Solid by Emmanuel Taku was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 327,600.00 (€ 39,266.49). Admittedly, works by Emmanuel Taku have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sisters in Lilac in March last year with an auction result of GBP 214,200.00 (€ 253,958.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Rock Solid von Emmanuel Taku kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 327.600,00 (€ 39.266,49) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emmanuel Taku auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sisters in Lilac im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 214.200,00 (€ 253.958,21).
