Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Christies in Milan held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Generalessa by Enrico Baj. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 51,200.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Enrico Baj - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Grande spettacolo, which sold at auction in June 2019 for EUR 130,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Generalessa von Enrico Baj zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 51.200,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Enrico Baj mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Grande spettacolo beobachtet, die im Juni 2019 für EUR 130.000,00 versteigert wurde.
