Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Day Sale, which included the work Nature Morte Aux Oignons by Eugène Boudin. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,834.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Boudin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La plage de Trouville in March last year with an auction result of GBP 2,262,000.00 (€ 2,681,855.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nature Morte Aux Oignons von Eugène Boudin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.834,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugène Boudin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La plage de Trouville im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.262.000,00 (€ 2.681.855,58).
