The work Umarmung. by Ewald Platte was auctioned at VAN HAM in February last year. It achieved a price of EUR 1,452.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 45 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ewald Platte - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dorf im Winter, which sold at auction in June 2013 for EUR 3,870.00.

Die Arbeit Umarmung. von Ewald Platte kam im Februar letzten Jahres bei VAN HAM zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.452,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 45 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Ewald Platte mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dorf im Winter beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für EUR 3.870,00 versteigert wurde.
