Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Filippo Indoni could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and Continental Watercolours auction, the work Courtship, The Roman Campagna changed hands for GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,107.99) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Filippo Indoni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The River Crossing in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 14,340.00 (€ 20,628.01).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Filippo Indoni konnte im Juli 2006 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British and Continental Watercolours wechselte die Arbeit Courtship, The Roman Campagna für GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.107,99) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Filippo Indoni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The River Crossing im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.340,00 (€ 20.628,01).
