Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Composition abstraite by František Kupka. It changed hands for a price of GBP 17,640.00 (€ 20,555.19) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by František Kupka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Jaillissement II (Tryskání II) in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 7,551,600.00 (€ 8,871,184.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition abstraite von František Kupka zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 17.640,00 (€ 20.555,19) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von František Kupka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Jaillissement II (Tryskání II) im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.551.600,00 (€ 8.871.184,71).
