Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gaston Louis Roux could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work "Le coq en colère" changed hands for SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,524.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gaston Louis Roux - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre, 1945, which sold at auction in March 2012 for EUR 5,148.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gaston Louis Roux konnte im Mai 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wechselte die Arbeit "Le coq en colère" für SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.524,25) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gaston Louis Roux mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1945 beobachtet, die im März 2012 für EUR 5.148,00 versteigert wurde.
