Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Invasione by Gastone Novelli was sold in the Milan Modern and Contemporary auction at Christies in Milan in April 2016. The price achieved of EUR 57,900.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gastone Novelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Caro Vietnam (Dear Vietnam), which sold at auction in June 2011 for GBP 187,250.00 (€ 207,157.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Invasione von Gastone Novelli wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 57.900,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gastone Novelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Caro Vietnam (Dear Vietnam) beobachtet, die im Juni 2011 für GBP 187.250,00 (€ 207.157,32) versteigert wurde.
