This artwork by George Condo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in August 2018. In the Horizon | Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 75,000.00 (€ 64,677.47) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Condo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nude and Forms in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 6,162,500.00 (€ 5,280,634.10).

Dieses Kunstwerk von George Condo erzielte im August 2018 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Horizon | Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 75.000,00 (€ 64.677,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Condo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nude and Forms im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.162.500,00 (€ 5.280.634,10).
