Upper estimate price exceeded by 100 %.
This artwork by Gérard Ernest Schneider achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in December 2021. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Opus 57 H sold for EUR 6,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gérard Ernest Schneider achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Opus 375 in October this year with an auction result of EUR 289,800.00.
