Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Superficie 452 by Giuseppe Capogrossi. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Capogrossi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Superficie 106 in December this year with an auction result of EUR 419,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Superficie 452 von Giuseppe Capogrossi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 80.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Capogrossi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Superficie 106 im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 419.500,00.
