Auction result misses estimated price range
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work Nude by Greg Bogin for HKD 4,032.00 (€ 4,117.46). This price was achieved in the auction NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Greg Bogin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jour Sans (Purple) in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 21,250.00 (€ 19,328.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Nude von Greg Bogin für HKD 4.032,00 (€ 4.117,46) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Greg Bogin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jour Sans (Purple) im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 19.328,72).
