Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Günther Uecker was sold in the Art of the 20th Century | ONLINE ONLY auction at VAN HAM in June this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 6,600.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Günther Uecker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spirale I, Spirale II (Doppelspirale) in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 2,629,000.00 (€ 3,080,928.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Günther Uecker wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Art of the 20th Century | ONLINE ONLY bei VAN HAM versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 6.600,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Günther Uecker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spirale I, Spirale II (Doppelspirale) im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.629.000,00 (€ 3.080.928,49).
