Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 1,136,000.00 (€ 856,647.31), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustav Klimt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Birch Forest in November last year with an auction result of USD 104,585,000.00 (€ 101,312,602.93).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.136.000,00 (€ 856.647,31) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustav Klimt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Birch Forest im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 104.585.000,00 (€ 101.312.602,93).
