Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Hände (Hands) by Hannah Höch. The price achieved of GBP 30,240 (€ 35,237) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as GBP 24,000 - 34,000. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hannah Höch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frau und Saturn in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 1,085,000 (€ 1,235,613).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hände (Hands) von Hannah Höch zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 30.240 (€ 35.237) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 24.000 – 34.000 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hannah Höch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Frau und Saturn im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.085.000 (€ 1.235.613).
