This artwork by Hans Bellmer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in October 2021. In the Art Moderne auction, the work Sans titre (étude préparatoire pour "Tour menthe poivrée") sold for EUR 47,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hans Bellmer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self-Portrait With Die Puppe in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 374,500.00 (€ 289,010.65).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hans Bellmer erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Christies einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Moderne wurde die Arbeit Sans titre (étude préparatoire pour "Tour menthe poivrée") für EUR 47.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Bellmer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Self-Portrait With Die Puppe im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 374.500,00 (€ 289.010,65).
