Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dummy and Human III, Oui Magazine, 1997 by Helmut Newton was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2006. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,697.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Helmut Newton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Big Nude III" (Variation), Paris in May last year with an auction result of USD 2,340,000.00 (€ 2,180,598.27).

Die Arbeit Dummy and Human III, Oui Magazine, 1997 von Helmut Newton kam im Oktober 2006 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.697,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Helmut Newton erzielen.
