Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2018 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper, which included the work Les volets clos, Gerberoy by Henri Le Sidaner. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,120.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Le Sidaner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Sérénade, Venise in November last year with an auction result of USD 2,100,000.00 (€ 2,034,292.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les volets clos, Gerberoy von Henri Le Sidaner zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.120,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Le Sidaner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Sérénade, Venise im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.100.000,00 (€ 2.034.292,36).
