Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Henry Heerup was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2018. It changed hands for a price of EUR 4,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henry Heerup have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition with figures in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 36,000.00 (€ 31,463.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Henry Heerup kam im April 2018 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 4.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry Heerup auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition with figures im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 36.000,00 (€ 31.463,03).
