Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Helmet Head No. 1 by Henry Moore was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2015. It achieved a price of USD 185,000.00 (€ 175,156.22), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Moore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reclining Figure: Festival in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 24,722,500.00 (€ 29,675,067.53).
