Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Brigitte Nielsen, Malibu by Herb Ritts was auctioned at Phillips in London in May last year. The price achieved of GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,411.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herb Ritts achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Versace Dress, Back View, El Mirage in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 158,500.00 (€ 220,377.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Brigitte Nielsen, Malibu von Herb Ritts kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.300,00 (€ 7.411,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Herb Ritts erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Versace Dress, Back View, El Mirage im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 158.500,00 (€ 220.377,57).
