Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction, which included the work Pink Nini by Benrei Huang. It changed hands for a price of HKD 138,600.00 (€ 15,410.92) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Benrei Huang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Theory of Leisure: Social Distancing Edition in April this year with an auction result of HKD 264,000.00 (€ 269,595.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pink Nini von Benrei Huang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 138.600,00 (€ 15.410,92) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Benrei Huang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Theory of Leisure: Social Distancing Edition im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 264.000,00 (€ 269.595,65).
