Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included the work Cherbourg (Study) No. Ii by Hughie O'Donoghue. The price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,125.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hughie O'Donoghue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Owl Run in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 110,085.42).
