The work The Unmade Bed, 1957 by Imogen Cunningham was sold in the Photographs auction at Christies in New York in April last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 20,160.00 (€ 19,132.58), 68% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Imogen Cunningham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calla in April 2019 with an auction result of USD 350,000.00 (€ 312,472.10).

Die Arbeit The Unmade Bed, 1957 von Imogen Cunningham wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 20.160,00 (€ 19.132,58) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Imogen Cunningham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calla im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 350.000,00 (€ 312.472,10).
