Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year China Guardian held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Red Space Invader(Executed approximately in the early 2000s) by Invader. The price achieved of HKD 240,000.00 (€ 30,754.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Invader achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tk_119 in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 1,220,000.00 (€ 1,107,178.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Red Space Invader(Executed approximately in the early 2000s) von Invader zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 240.000,00 (€ 30.754,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Invader erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tk_119 im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.220.000,00 (€ 1.107.178,51).
