It achieved a price of USD 10,710.00 (€ 9,120.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Admittedly, works by Jayashree Chakravarty have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2009 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 37,704.55).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Set of Two) von Jayashree Chakravarty wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.710,00 (€ 9.120,33) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jayashree Chakravarty auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 37.704,55).
