Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jayashree Chakravarty was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2008. The price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,540.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,500.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Jayashree Chakravarty have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2009 the work without title was auctioned for USD 50,000.00 (€ 37,704.55).
