In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction, the work Le Truand sold for USD 5,511,500.00 (€ 4,905,215.38) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean Dubuffet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paris Polka in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 24,805,000.00 (€ 22,562,306.71).

In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Evening Sale wurde die Arbeit Le Truand für USD 5.511.500,00 (€ 4.905.215,38) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Dubuffet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paris Polka im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 24.805.000,00 (€ 22.562.306,71).
