This work without title by Jean-Michel Basquiat was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2016. Here, the upper estimate of USD 50,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 57,285,000.00 (€ 51,445,891.33). Other works by Jean-Michel Basquiat have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 110,487,500.00 (€ 98,333,481.67) in May 2017 for the work without title.
