Upper estimate price exceeded by 39 %.
The work Pooh by Jerkface was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 27,720.00 (€ 2,930.22), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jerkface achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homerbob Wave (Variant) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 119,700.00 (€ 122,237.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pooh von Jerkface kam im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 27.720,00 (€ 2.930,22) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jerkface erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Homerbob Wave (Variant) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 119.700,00 (€ 122.237,12).
