The work The Memory of North Liucao Island I by Jia Aili was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in May 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,729.66), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jia Aili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Combustion in November this year with an auction result of USD 4,769,000.00 (€ 4,372,020.54).

Die Arbeit The Memory of North Liucao Island I von Jia Aili kam im Mai 2019 bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.729,66) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jia Aili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Combustion im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.769.000,00 (€ 4.372.020,54).
