It achieved a price of GBP 3,200.00 (€ 3,733.43), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 45%. Admittedly, works by Joan Gillchrest have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jack'S View Of Mousehole in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 16,800.00 (€ 24,948.53).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.200,00 (€ 3.733,43) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 45%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joan Gillchrest auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jack'S View Of Mousehole im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.800,00 (€ 24.948,53).
