Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Phillips in New York held the auction Living the Avant-Garde: The Triton Collection Foundation, Evening Sale Part I, which included the work Personnage et oiseaux by Joan Miró. The price achieved of USD 889,000.00 (€ 814,998.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 700,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Living the Avant-Garde: The Triton Collection Foundation, Evening Sale Part I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Personnage et oiseaux von Joan Miró zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 889.000,00 (€ 814.998,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 700.000,00 – 1.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
