Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2003 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper, which included the work Personnage by Joan Miró. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 41,825.00 (€ 60,104.80). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Personnage von Joan Miró zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 41.825,00 (€ 60.104,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
