In November this year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art | Bonhams Skinner, which included the work Untitled 12 5/16 x 9 3/16 in. (31.3 x 23.3 cm) framed 20 1/4 x 17 1/4 in. by Joan Miró. The »bidding war« ended at USD 32,000.00 (€ 29,336.27), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).

Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art | Bonhams Skinner durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled 12 5/16 x 9 3/16 in. (31.3 x 23.3 cm) framed 20 1/4 x 17 1/4 in. von Joan Miró zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 32.000,00 (€ 29.336,27) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
