Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Paysage bleu gris horizontal by Josef Šíma was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June 2012. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 157,000.00. Admittedly, works by Josef Šíma have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jour du royal bleu in June this year with an auction result of EUR 806,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Paysage bleu gris horizontal von Josef Šíma kam im Juni 2012 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 157.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Josef Šíma auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jour du royal bleu im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 806.400,00.
